About this app

Dosey is a small, quiet parenting app that remembers what you've given your child and when. It's a logbook for tired parents, not medical advice - no warnings, no diagnoses, just a clear answer to "when was the last dose?"

A small, honest app for tired parents.

It's 3am. Your toddler is feverish. Did you give Calpol two hours ago, or four? Dosey keeps track so you don't have to.

WHAT IT DOES

• Remembers the last dose. Open the app, tap the medicine, tap the amount. The next-dose time appears on the home screen, so you can stop doing maths in the kitchen.
• Pre-loads the right dose. Calpol and Ibuprofen come with the official UK age-banded amounts built in: 2.5ml at six months, 5ml at three years, and so on.
• Plain-English timing. "Available", "Earlier than recommended", or "Too soon", with the exact next-dose time. We never tell you a dose is "safe to give" because that's not our call to make.
• Shares with your partner. Whoever logs a dose, the other parent sees it on their phone. No more half-asleep texts asking who gave what when.
• Sends gentle reminders. A push notification when the next dose becomes available, on both phones. Toggle them off any time.
• Keeps a full history. Every dose, temperature, and note in one tappable timeline, grouped into illness episodes so you can scroll back to a specific week without scrolling forever.
• Charts fevers. Temperatures plotted over the last 14 days with reference lines for elevated and high. A 7-day summary shows the peak, doses given, and days active.
• Doctor-ready PDF. The activity screen exports the last fortnight as a clean PDF you can hand to the GP, 111, or save for later.

WHAT IT WON'T DO

• Tell you a dose is "safe to give". The bottle and your GP do that.
• Recommend you alternate Calpol and Ibuprofen. Only your clinician should advise that.
• Stop you from giving a dose. You know things the app doesn't.
• Replace 111, your GP, or your pharmacist. If you're worried, please call them. Dosey is a record, not advice.
