JOinJMD streamlines and simplifies communication and organization for youth orchestras, fostering a strong orchestral community. The app is free for JMD member ensembles.

JoinJMD - GDPR-compliant chats within the orchestra
- Practical rehearsal planner: create appointments, rehearsal schedules, add notes, select instrumentation -> Each orchestra member can RSVP -> current rehearsal/concert lineup at a glance
- Moderation rights can be assigned by the conductor (who can schedule appointments, process feedback, section leader functions, etc.)
- Integration of cloud services, to-do lists, other calendars, recordings (e.g., Spotify playlists or YouTube videos, photo libraries, etc.)

No mobile phone number is required to register in the app; only your name, email address, and JMD orchestra ID are needed.
A data processing agreement (DPA) will not be issued: Each orchestra member registers independently in the app.

Jeunesses Musicales Germany (JMD) is the community of young orchestras in Germany: 300 music school orchestras, school orchestras, and independent orchestras; all state youth orchestras and the German National Youth Orchestra are members. The JMD operates the Weikersheim Castle Music Academy. Orchestras rehearse there throughout the year, and JMD courses for young musicians take place.
