Great App for Nikon D3400 I initially reviewed this saying it didn't work for the Nikon D3400. I went into the settings and turned on the Use Android native USB access setting, and it worked. *I am not rooted*. Live view doesn't seem to work at all (not supposed to for video on this camera, but I'm not getting anything at all on normal live view either), and it gets disconnected from the camera sometimes, randomly (just unplug and plug back in, and it's fine, though). Otherwise, exactly what I'm looking for!
Can use auto bracket for Nikon D3300! Very useful app! My camera isn't equipped for auto bracketing. Instead of spending $100 or so on camera attachments like the Pulse, I only spent $8 for an app that uses the wifi adapter that came with the camera. The app does crash sometimes, but that's a small thing to deal with when i can save a good chunk of change. Definitely worth the buy
Superb app but no zoom option in live-view mode Everything works out well for me. Even I got additional functionalities like timelapse which is not present in camera body. Great work. I didn't find any zoom option in live view mode, please add this function in order to make it a perfect app.
Nikon D7100 + LG G3 Amazing!! This software saved me. Hooked to my phone i can control, record, autofocus with a touch. Never locks up on me. Not once. This software plus my camera take my D7100 up another level. I have along usb ext cord 20ft so i can control everything from my phone far away. Iso, apt, all of it. Cudos tu the develepors well worth the money. 5 stars!
Had high hopes but was let down. Primary purchase of this app was to use my device as an external monitor for filming. Given that this application crashes 5 seconds into live view every time I enable it and that recording is not available anywhere. This application is a complete waste. Unless you want an application for solely time lapse then this app is not for you. Device s6edge+, camera Nikon d3300.
The app is amazing. While it crashes occasionally (and, in my case, every time I unplug the DSLR), it is still much more stable and reliable than any other similar app I tried. More importantly, it contains tons of features, while remaining perfectly usable. Over the last few weeks, it helped me shooting videos and stills in situations where I couldn't do it otherwise because of the position of the camera. In other cases, it still helped by providing a much larger display than the camera's. It should be noted that the app is available for free on a PC (yes, the full version!), so one can test it (and especially the compatibility with a given DSLR) before purchasing it for an Android device. Zoltan Hubai did a great job and I hope he will continue maintaining and enhancing this app.
