Every idea starts as a rough line. ScholarsNode Ink is a drawing app built for study: a real ink engine with brushes that follow your hand, live rooms where your class draws and talks on one sheet, computer-based tests you sit on the same paper you scribble on, and virtual science labs.

THE SHEET
• Brushes that behave like the real thing: pens, pencils, markers, watercolour and grain textures with pressure, tilt and speed dynamics. Smoothing keeps your line honest; prediction keeps it under your finger.
• Unlimited layers with live thumbnails. Select, move, nudge and slice any stroke. Undo everything.
• A ruler and protractor that measure in real centimetres and degrees.
• Text and proper mathematics beside your sketch, Greek and Cyrillic alphabets included.
• Import photos and diagrams; export any layer or the whole drawing as a crisp image or a shareable .ink file.

CLASSES AND ROOMS
• Go live and hand out a code. Everyone joins the same sheet and sees the same strokes as they happen.
• Push-to-talk voice, with an open mic for the host and a noise filter that runs on our own server.
• Follow mode shows the class exactly what the host sees.
• Room chat, direct messages and reactions that float up the sheet.
• Subscribe to a class and get rung when it starts — like a call, even on Do Not Disturb.

COMPUTER-BASED TESTS
• Enter the access code from your school or exam body and the paper arrives on your sheet with its subjects and rules.
• Set up your sitting: subject combination, questions per subject, time per question, shuffled questions and options.
• Review every question afterwards with the correct answer and an explanation.
• Miss one and the AI tutor writes a fresh question on the same concept. Short answers are marked for you.
• Secure sittings block screenshots and screen recording while a paper is open.
• The canvas stays open as rough paper the whole time.

SCIENCE LABS
• Virtual experiments in physics, chemistry and biology.
• Search the apparatus catalogue, drop a beaker, fill it, connect a burette.
• 3-D glassware with liquid as a medium, rendered with real glass optics by the same engine that draws your strokes.

GUEST FIRST
• Start sketching without an account. Guest work stays on your device.
• Sign in with Google to join rooms, sit tests and keep your sheets. Sign in later and your work comes with you.

The same engine runs on Android and in any modern browser at ink.scholarsnode.ng. Your sheet looks and feels the same everywhere.

What’s new

Room panel: delete a room you own (its code and subscriptions go with it) or forget a room you joined, with the trash button. Rooms the server no longer knows leave the list on their own.
The puck now appears in its corner on the first frame after start-up.
Better crash reporting so rare start-up crashes can be traced and fixed.
Also in this release: persistent room codes, per-code class rings, scanner confirm step, web QR scanning, redesigned toasts, and the AI tutor fix for empty answers.
