🌐 Web Protection (Uses Android VpnService)

To provide web activity filtering and protection, Aegio uses Android’s VpnService to create a local, on-device VPN. This allows Aegio to filter and block harmful or inappropriate websites and enforce safe browsing rules set by the parent.

• The VPN is used only to enable web filtering/protection features
• This is not a remote or third-party VPN service for anonymizing traffic
• The child can be informed when protection is enabled, and the parent controls it from their Aegio account
