About this app

Get a notification at a user defined time interval before an ISS sighting occurs.

If you've missed sightings before because you've had to rely on manually looking up NASA's SpotTheStation listings, this app is a good solution.

This is an open source project built using React Native.

This thing just works. A not frills UI and the best part, does not even need location permissions that most apps seem to hog around. Simply add your city and get started.

The ISS completes one revolution in about 90 minutes, and about 16 revolutions per day. Maybe you mistook the ISS as something other than the International Space Station and decided to leave a review. That's cool, we all make mistakes.

It started out good but now I can't get it to update. it's telling me all past flybys. I'll keep it for a day or two and if it doesn't straighten out it will be deleted.

All the flyby data on the app is sourced from NASA. You can go to spotthestation.nasa.gov to verify that the data is exactly the same. Either there are simply no visible flybys in your area (which happens for a couple weeks at a time), or NASA's servers are temporarily out of sync (usually fixed in a day). This is not an issue related to the app.
