About this app

Keep your AI coding tasks moving when you leave your desk. BotBus connects Claude Code, Codex and other coding agents on your Mac, Linux or Windows computer to your Android phone. Get approval notifications, answer questions, send the next instruction, and open your computer's files or terminal when needed.

APPROVE AND CONTINUE
• Browse task progress, conversations, code and images by computer, agent and project
• Approve or deny requests, answer multiple-choice questions, and get notified when tasks finish, fail or need your reply
• Start tasks, continue chats and interrupt work with text or voice input
• Choose models and reasoning effort for Claude Code and Codex, with auto-approval for projects you trust
• Run tasks in git worktrees, review line-by-line changes and merge them back

FILES, TERMINAL AND SCREEN
• Browse projects, view and edit text files, upload photos, receive shared files, rename files or move them to Trash
• Use a real computer terminal with tabs and extra keys, including Ctrl, Tab and arrows; sessions survive dropped connections
• See and control your Mac screen with taps, drags, zoom and typing
• Files and terminal work on Mac, Linux and Windows; screen control and dev previews work on Mac
• Changes require unlocking and lock again after 10 idle minutes

YOUR AGENTS, YOUR COMPUTERS
Built-in support for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Hermes, Pi, OpenClaw and DeepSeek Harness, plus ACP agents such as Gemini CLI, Qwen Code, Kimi CLI and goose. Sessions started at your desk appear too. Agents keep their own logins, subscriptions and API keys. Pair up to 10 computers and 10 phones, and remove devices whenever you want.

PRIVATE PAIRING
Tasks, chats, commands, files, terminal and screen use AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption. Our relay sees ciphertext. The key travels through your computer's pairing QR code or link; compare the 8-digit fingerprint to verify it. Dev previews pass through the relay and are not end-to-end encrypted.

Requires Android 8.0 or later. Your computer needs macOS 26, Linux (x86_64 or aarch64), or Windows 10/11. Controls require the computer online with BotBus running; available features depend on the agent. The Android app does not include an Apple Watch app.
