I mean it's alright. It's certainly an improvement over basic note taking and calendar apps I've used. This one in particular is cross platform, so as someone who has literally a little bit of everything it's a real boon not having to worry about going between Google Docs, Apple Notes, and whatever Samsung has in their phones. That said the mobile apps are far and away not great. Fine if you just need to reference something or just jot something down, but awful for long form editing even.

app experience isn't bad, love the look and feel, closely resembles the desktop experience. That being said from the app I need quick access to my content, opening the app, finding the object, searching the note is cumbersome. now that we have tasks I'm in dire need of a widget, I want to save tasks or thoughts when I'm on a walk, I'm currently using another app to jot down notes, then later transferring to capacities, not ideal, especially as a paid subscriber.

I haven't been able to thoroughly test Capacities, mostly because of a restriction issue with my library. I can use the app in the library, but not the website. That isn't the dev's fault — however, that's where the lack of feature parity with desktop seriously affects me. For example, I can't create object types at all by any means rn. Otherwise this app coincides with a change in priorities in favor of offline support. In the little that I've tested, this IS the case, which is HUGE for me!
