Cipher is a private messenger built on the same non-custodial principle as a hardware crypto wallet — applied to your conversations. We can't read your messages. Not because we won't. Because we can't.

Most “private” apps make a promise: we encrypt your data, and we promise not to look. That promise depends on trusting a company, its employees, its future owners, and how it responds to government pressure — forever. The moment any of that changes, so does your privacy.

Cipher removes the need to trust us at all. The guarantee isn't a policy a future executive could reverse — it's a mathematical fact about how the system is built.
