"Layers of Memory" is an innovative and multi-faceted interactive map that aims to promote and preserve the memory of Polish history and Polish cultural heritage.
In today's world, where disinformation and manipulation of information are common, it is important to provide reliable and true knowledge about the history of our homeland. The "Layers of Memory" project is an excellent tool for building historical awareness and counteracting falsification of facts. Thanks to its interactive form, adapted to the expectations of the young generation, the "Layers of Memory" website has become a key project of Reduta, aimed at disseminating historical knowledge. Using modern technologies and interactive tools, we have created a website that presents content in an accessible way.
The added value of "Layers of Memory" is to enable users to actively participate in its development through a special form - each recipient can participate in the development of the presented layers, report a new point or supplement data already existing on the map.
The "Layers of Memory" project is constantly developing and is intended to become the main source of knowledge about events and people of significant importance to Polish history. Each new layer in the project is a virtual journey into the history of Poland, focusing on specific events, periods or figures that had a significant impact on the development of the country. Thanks to this, website users will be able to explore more and more detailed aspects of Poland's history and get to know extraordinary figures who have become a permanent part of the national heritage.
