Lockit lets you lock selected apps on your device so only you can access them. Whether it’s social media, messages, photos, or banking apps, you stay in control of your privacy. With a simple and clean interface, Lockit makes it easy to choose which apps you want to protect and secure them with a PIN code.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE REGARDING ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE:

Lockit uses the AccessibilityService API to provide its core functionality: protecting your privacy by locking selected apps.

How it works: The Accessibility Service is used to detect when an application is opened or closed. This allows Lockit to identify the package name of the foreground app and display a secure lock screen overlay before the target application's interface is shown. This ensures that unauthorized users cannot access the content of your protected apps.

Privacy Commitment:

•We do NOT use the Accessibility Service to collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.
•We do NOT read your screen content, messages, or monitor your activities for any purpose other than app locking.
•This permission is strictly required for the app locking feature to function reliably on all Android versions and to ensure the security overlay appears immediately.

You can enable or disable this service at any time through your device's Accessibility settings.
