Preserved incidents. Structured records. Verifiable artifacts.
FusionTrace is incident preservation and verification. Authorized users at an organization receive the incident records that businesses choose to release to them, check whether a sealed package has changed since it was sealed, and keep a record of every look in the app.
The business decides. A business preserves an incident in its own records, and the incident gets its own incident number. An authorized organization may ask for a record. The business may approve, decline or not answer, and a request here is not legal process. Only if it approves does the record reach that organization, under the business's case number, for 90 days from approval. The business can withdraw what it released at any time, which ends your organization's access in FusionTrace. When the 90 days end, access ends the same way; the record of every look is kept.
Observations, not accusations. Before a release, the map and list show only what a business observed, where and when. A record's details open only inside a record released to your organization, attributed to the business that recorded it. FusionTrace never labels anyone.
Your case number stays yours. Your organization may link its own case number to a released record. It is stored sealed to your organization; the business sees only that a number was linked.
A person decides, every time. FusionTrace makes no determinations on its own and does not identify anyone. Images a business releases may show people; what they mean is for a person to decide.
In the app:
• The map and list: what participating businesses make available, by place and time. Ask for a record and file the request in one of your cases.
• Alerts when a business approves or declines your request, and a week before an approval ends. An alert shows only the business's case number.
• Cases: each case with its requests and released records, in the order they happened.
• The Record Chain: each released record carries its incident number and the business's case number, and a chain of entries, each sealed to the one before, so a changed entry breaks the chain and the record shows where.
• Verify: every artifact in a sealed package, each photo or clip, carries its own SHA-256 fingerprint. Whoever holds a sealed package can check it: touch and hold the FusionTrace icon, choose Verify a package and scan the QR code on its cover sheet. The verification page shows whether each artifact is unchanged since it was sealed; it does not show that what an artifact shows is true. Any other code is refused.
• The record: every record opened and every image shown in FusionTrace at your organization, with who looked and the business's case number. A copy made outside the app is not on it.
• Sign in with your work email and account passcode, or through your organization's own single sign-on (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace or any SAML provider) in your phone's secure sign-in window.
• Your fingerprint, face or your phone's screen lock locks the app when you open it and after five minutes away. FusionTrace has no PIN of its own.
FusionTrace accounts are created by your organization. There is no public sign-up: ask your organization's lead for an invitation.
