Perfection? No, but a great tool. The app is still a bit confusing, but with trial and error, it becomes easier to navigate. Don't give up. Hand this ball to your buddies when you take their picture with a fish...you know, the guys that catch and release that 16 inch trout on the water, and it grows to 20 inches at the fly shop! Good reason for this earning the name "Proof Ball". Take re-positioned pics of the same fish, the measurements will vary (slightly). Prove your honesty...

Great app, I think the poor reviews are from older versions where they were working out the bugs, it has constantly improved since last year and I expect it to be the standard for fish measurement in a couple years!

Have had several updates recently and now received a message saying that the app is now no longer compatible with my phone. This makes no sense and is obviously very disappointing. Unless the issue is resolved I could not recommend the purchase of proof balls and the using the fishtechy app to anyone.
