About this app

Neonix Reader is the door-staff companion app for events run on the Neonix
platform. It turns a phone or handheld scanner into a secure gate: point it at
a ticket or badge QR and get an instant, unambiguous answer.

WHAT IT DOES
• Scan ticket and badge QR codes with the camera, or use a dedicated hardware
scanner (keyboard-wedge PDAs supported out of the box).
• Instant gate verdicts: ADMIT, ALREADY USED, ALREADY INSIDE, NOT INSIDE,
WRONG EVENT, EXPIRED, VOIDED, NOT YET VALID — each with a full-screen,
color-coded result built to be read at a glance in a busy doorway.
• Identity check on admit: the attendee's name and photo appear the moment a
badge is accepted, so staff can match the person to the pass.
• Entry and exit lanes: tag badges IN and OUT with a single toggle —
re-entry rules are enforced server-side.
• Anti-screenshot security: Neonix rotating QR codes are validated live, so a
forwarded screenshot of a ticket won't get anyone through the door.
• Every scan is verified server-side in real time — no ticket data is stored
on the device.

FOR EVENT STAFF
Neonix Reader is a companion app for staff of venues and organizers that use
Neonix. It requires a staff account issued by your organization — there is no
self-service sign-up. Attendees keep their tickets in the Neonix app instead.
