LearnBraille is an educational application designed to facilitate the teaching and learning of Braille. Created as a project of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, this tool is designed for tutors, educators, and parents who support students with visual impairments, allowing detailed and personalized progress monitoring.
Key Features:
Comprehensive Student Management: Register each student with their personal information, such as name, date of birth, and institution. Maintain an individual profile for each student and access their history in an organized manner.
Detailed Progress Tracking: Each practice session is automatically saved in the student's history. Review scores, dates, and character-specific results to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
Customizable Practice Sessions: Tutors can create customized lessons by entering the letters or words they want the student to practice in each session, tailoring the learning process to individual needs.
Bluetooth Hardware Integration: Connect the app to a physical Braille display via Bluetooth for an interactive, tactile learning experience. The app receives responses directly from the hardware, recording the results in real time. If hardware is not available, responses can also be recorded manually on-screen.
Clear and Intuitive Interface: Designed to be easy to use, allowing tutors to focus on teaching without technical complications.
