Card counting, taught properly. Hi-Lo Blackjack Trainer is a practice table built for players who want to drill card counting and basic strategy until both are automatic - then test them against friends in real time.
A built-in coach scores every decision you make against basic strategy and tells you when a play was wrong - "16 vs 5, basic strategy says Stand" - so mistakes stop being invisible. Your accuracy is tracked hand after hand.
The running count and true count update as you play, so you can see the shoe turn favorable and learn what to do about it. Play a hand, size your bet, and watch how penetration changes the edge.
PLAY ONLINE WITH FRIENDS
Host a private table and share its room code, or open the lobby and join a table someone else has already started. Up to five players share one dealer and one shoe, with the running count on screen for everyone - so you can practice counting on a live table instead of alone.
CHOOSE YOUR TABLE
Strategy is not universal - the correct play changes with the house rules. Pick the table you are practising for and both the dealer and the coach follow it:
- Dealer hits or stands on soft 17
- Double after split, or not
- Doubling on any two cards, or only on 9-11
- 3:2 or 6:5 blackjack, so you can see exactly what a 6:5 table costs you
BASIC STRATEGY COACH
- Every hit, stand, double and split is scored against the correct play
- The recommended move is highlighted while you learn, and can be switched off
- A running accuracy score, so you can see yourself improving
- The chart is recalculated for whichever table you select, not copied from one game. Most charts you find online are for a different rule set.
CARD COUNTING
- Hi-Lo running count and true count, live as cards are dealt
- Shoe penetration tracking, so you can see when the count matters
- Multiple shoe modes: 6-deck, 2-deck, and continuous shuffle
- Continuous shuffle mode included on purpose, to show why counting cannot beat a CSM
FULL BLACKJACK RULES
- Hit, stand, double on any two cards, split up to four hands, insurance
- Split aces draw one card; a two-card 21 from a split pays even money
- Dealer hits soft 17; blackjack pays 3:2
- Identical rules whether you play solo or online, so practice transfers
