About this app

mQR is a QR code scanner and generator built with the fewest permissions and the smallest size possible.

■ Scan
- Just point the camera. Only the frame at the center of the screen is recognized, so nearby codes are never picked up by mistake
- The camera stops automatically after a scan
- Scan saved images such as screenshots, without any storage permission
- Copy the result, share it, or open it in your browser (http / https only)

■ Create
- Create QR codes from text or URLs
- Choose the error correction level (L / M / Q / H)
- Save as a PNG anywhere you like, or share it
- Create a QR code directly from the Share menu or text selection menu of other apps

■ Privacy
- The only permission is the camera. The app has no Internet permission and never communicates with external servers
- No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting
- Scanned content and entered text are never stored

Bug fixes
- URLs in capitals (e.g. HTTPS://EXAMPLE.COM/) can now be opened
- Now available on devices whose camera has no autofocus
- Fixed a crash on devices without a file picker
- Scan results no longer vanish when a tablet or foldable rotates
- The camera restarts after another app in split screen used it
- Guide text no longer overlaps the buttons on short screens
- Fixed "Camera unavailable" when quickly returning to the app
