Turn two devices into a private baby monitor with Naptio — a privacy-first baby-monitoring app built for parents who care about security as much as sleep.

Use your Android phone or tablet as the “viewer” or the “camera”, and any other compatible device as the other peer. Naptio works across platforms including Windows, macOS and iOS via the Naptio web app, so the second device can be a laptop or an iPhone, not just another Android phone. Naptio connects them directly over your local network using WebRTC, with no video sent to the cloud, no user accounts, and no tracking.

SMART ON-DEVICE AI*

Naptio includes lightweight, on-device AI models that help you stay informed without staring at the screen:

• Cry detection – be notified when your baby is likely crying.
• Motion detection – get alerts when there is meaningful movement in the crib.
• Posture cues – optional prone / face-down indicators to help you notice position changes quickly.

All analysis happens either on the device running the camera page or on the viewer device, so Naptio can leverage the most powerful device available. Audio and video never leave your devices except to travel between them for monitoring.

HOW IT WORKS

Open Naptio on the camera device and place it near the crib, pointing at your baby.

Open Naptio on your other device and pair them using a one-time secret key or QR code.

Keep the viewer near you to watch live video, listen to audio, and receive cry/motion alerts.

Because Naptio uses a direct connection, performance is best on a stable Wi-Fi network.
