About this app

Quadra is an expense tracking app that asks nothing of you.

No registration, no account, no server. What you write stays on your
phone, and there's nowhere of ours where it could end up—because
no place of ours exists.

The app doesn't even declare a single Android permission: no network, no notifications, no contacts, no
location. You don't have to take our word for it; you can check it yourself in the
app's permissions.

RECORD AN EXPENSE IN TWO TAPES

Choose where it went from a grid that's always in the same place, write the amount, and
you're done. After a week, your thumb can reach it without reading.

The keypad does the math. If you paid for your coffee, croissant, and juice at the bar,
write 4.50 + 1.40 + 2.40 instead of mentally writing it down in line at the checkout.

ACCOUNTS AS THEY REALLY ARE

Cash, cards, online accounts: each with its own balance, recalculated with every transaction and
never memorized, therefore always accurate.

Restricted accounts remain separate. Money with a specific purpose—a set-aside fund,
a card for a benefit—exists and is visible, but it isn't added to what you
can actually spend.

Transfers between accounts aren't expenses, and don't affect the statistics.

RECURRING PAYMENTS WARN YOU, THEY DON'T PAY FOR YOU

Rent, bills, season tickets, insurance every four months: you set them when
they're due, and Quadra reminds you at the right time. You decide how much you've actually paid
and only then is the transaction recorded.

It's a choice, not an oversight. A charge can be missed due to insufficient funds and
arrive two days later: an app that writes the payment itself shows you a balance that
doesn't exist, and an incorrect balance leads to poor decisions about real money.

If you haven't paid it yet, you postpone the reminder for a few days. If it wasn't there that month, you skip it.

READABLE STATISTICS

How much you spent this month and how much you actually have left. Your monthly income with its
total. Trends over the last six months. Spending by category, sorted.

THE BACKUP IS YOURS

Export everything to a JSON file that you can open and read with your own eyes. You choose where
to put it with the system selector: your phone's memory, a flash drive, your
cloud. Quadra doesn't upload it anywhere, and to put it back on another phone,
just restore it.

DESIGNED FOR ITALY

Amounts in euros with decimal points, dates in Italian format, starting categories
calibrated for how people spend here. And everything is in Italian, not half-translated.

Light theme and dark theme, or whatever your phone says.

Quadra is free. There are no locked features, there is no paid version, and
there are no ads.
