About this app

Your home needs looking after. Almanac tells you what to do, when, and how.

You add what you have (furnace, water heater, smoke alarms, gutters) and the app builds your schedule. It tells you when something is due, walks you through it step by step, and keeps a record of what was done.

WHAT IT CHANGES

• Nothing to remember. Almanac knows the intervals; you open the app when it asks.
• Real instructions. Every task lists the steps, the tools, how long it takes, and what happens if you put it off.
• A maintenance record you can export as a PDF. Something to reassure a buyer, an insurer, or yourself in three years.
• A home health score, so you can see where you stand at a glance.

WHAT'S YOURS STAYS YOURS

No account. No sign-up. There is no Almanac server: your data stays on your phone, and Android's backup keeps an encrypted copy in your Google account so you still have it on your next device. No ads, no subscription, no selling your data.

Almanac is built by one person. You can donate if the app is useful to you: it pays for hosting, the developer account, and the time spent writing the maintenance sheets.

WORTH KNOWING

Almanac helps you keep up with routine maintenance. It does not replace required inspections or a professional's judgment: check what applies to your home.

What’s new

Almanac looks different. The home screen opens on a drawing of your home, house or flat, that follows the season and carries the month. Your equipment, your record and your settings read as registers, line by line. The icon and every drawing come from the same pen as the seasonal illustrations.

Exporting the record now asks which format you want: a PDF for a buyer or an insurer, a CSV for a spreadsheet.
