About this game

Hold the line. Defend your HQ to the very end.

Your headquarters sits at the bottom of the screen behind a ring of brick walls. Enemy tanks keep rolling out of the fog. With a single tank, block their path, fire, and guard the walls. The game ends when the HQ falls or you lose all three lives. How many stages can you hold?

■ A battlefield in the fog
You only see what is around your tank. Enemies appear when they enter your sight, and whoever sees first shoots first. The HQ is always shown in the base view at the bottom, so you never miss an attack on it even while fighting far away. Fire a flare to light up the fog for seven seconds.

■ Enemies that grow stronger
Light tanks that go down in one hit, fast raiders, heavy tanks that take two hits, gun tanks that fire fast shells more often, and assault tanks that take four hits. Tougher enemies join as the stages go up, and more of them come at once. Destroy all 20 tanks in a stage to clear it.

■ A different battlefield every time
Ten maps of brick, steel, forest, water and ice are picked at random for each stage. Bricks break under fire — the same rule that lets you open a path can also open a hole in your HQ's walls.

■ The supply depot before every sortie
The gold you earn stays with you after each run. Before you deploy, stock up at the supply depot: mobility (movement and shell speed), firepower (two shells at once, faster reloads), a shield that stops one shell, flares and extra lives. What you buy lasts for that run and is gone when the game ends. You always head out with one flare.

■ Two players on the same Wi-Fi
When two phones are on the same Wi-Fi, you can defend the HQ together. One player opens a room and the other finds it and joins — no account or server needed. Each player has their own lives, so if you run out first you can watch your partner hold the line, and more enemies come at once when you play as two. Gold and what you buy at the supply depot stay on each player's own phone. Public and guest Wi-Fi networks may block devices from connecting to each other.

■ Portrait, two thumbs
Move with the direction dial on the left and fire with the button on the right — hold it to keep firing. If you switch to another app mid-game, the game pauses automatically.

■ No account, no internet needed
Start right away without signing up, and play offline. Your best record and gold are stored only on your device.

About ads — one ad is shown when you leave the results screen after a game. At the supply depot you can choose to watch an ad for 200 bonus gold (up to three times per sortie). There are no ads during battle.
Defend your HQ from tanks in the fog, solo or with a friend on the same Wi-Fi.

What’s new

Background music and new sound effects — a main theme and a battle theme, music for stage start, clear and game over, plus recorded cannon fire, explosions, metal hits, crumbling bricks and an HQ alarm. Set the effects and music volume separately with the sound button on the main screen or on the pause screen. Some enemy tanks now find their way straight to your HQ, break through the walls and attack it — more of them as the stages go up. The steel walls around the HQ are now all brick.
