Open the 3D file you were just sent, and stand it in your room at the size it really is.
SceneView opens GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, and 3MF straight from a message, a browser download, or the share sheet, then places it in augmented reality on your actual table. No conversion step, no account, no sign-up.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Open a 3D file from anywhere — tap it in Files, a chat, or your Downloads and pick SceneView.
- Place it in your room — point at a flat surface, tap, then drag, pinch, and twist it into position.
- Trust the size — models arrive in real-world units and right side up, so a part you are about to print shows up on your table at the size it will print.
- Let the real room win — real furniture stays in front of virtual objects, someone walking past passes in front of the scene, and your room's own light lights the model.
- Measure a real distance by tapping two points, or hang something flat against a wall.
- Relight anything — swap HDR environments and watch materials, reflections, and shadows change in real time.
- Browse and download models from Sketchfab, Icosa, and Poly Haven without leaving the app.
- Explore 48 demo screens — placement, tracking, anchors, depth, physics, geometry, materials, spatial audio, radiance fields, and more.
FOR DEVELOPERS
This app is the live showcase for SceneView, the open-source 3D and AR SDK for Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, and the web. Every screen here is a handful of lines in your own app: a model on screen is one composable, and AR placement is one call. The source of all 48 screens is public, and each screen links to the code that draws it.

PRIVACY
No account, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your models and the camera feed are processed on your device — the camera is used only for AR, and nothing it sees is stored or uploaded. Two things reach the network, and only when you ask for them: searching the online model galleries, and the handful of demos that host an anchor with Google's ARCore cloud service.
