Create a truly animated wallpaper using your own photos.
Slime lets you select the area you want to move on your photo, adjust its softness and elasticity,
and then set it as your phone wallpaper. It will move in real-time with your shaking phone, tilting your phone, swiping the desktop,
and tapping the screen—not a pre-recorded animation, but a physically calculated effect for each frame.
■ Main Features
・Import your own photos and select the area to move.
・Independent adjustment of softness and elasticity for each area.
・The shaking center can be moved freely, determining where it starts to move.
・Crop and composition adjustments.
・Four real-time feedback methods: shake, tilt, touch tap, and desktop page transition, each of which can be turned on or off.
・Three smoothness levels to choose from, depending on whether you prioritize power saving or smoothness.
■ Power Saving
The most common complaint about dynamic wallpapers is power consumption. Slime completely stops processing and doesn't draw any frames when the wallpaper is not in sight
(when you are using other apps or the screen is off).
It also doesn't spin and redraw when the screen is still. The frame rate can be adjusted to a minimum of 15fps.
■ Your photos never leave this phone
Slime has no network permissions. Your photos and settings exist only in the private space of this device and are deleted when you uninstall it. No account, no cloud, no ads, no tracking.
■ Regarding power-saving mechanisms on some phones
The power-saving mechanisms of brands like Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, vivo, and Samsung sometimes turn off the dynamic wallpaper in the background. The app includes an instruction page guiding you to add Slime to the whitelist.
This significantly reduces the chance of this happening, but cannot completely prevent it—it's a system-level mechanism.
■ Paid Content
The free version allows you to create a single canvas. A one-time payment unlocks unlimited canvases; there is no subscription or monthly fee.
Turn your photos into dynamic, wiggling wallpapers. Shake, tilt, or tap, and it will move.
