About this app

This is my opinion as a developer, but numbers in foreign languages have a different importance than in conversation. For example, when you are traveling overseas, you may be confused about the price of the product, the date and time, or the announcements at the international airport such as ``What time and minute has the flight departed and been changed to what gate?'' There are some troublesome things.

Even if you don't need to learn a foreign language, there are probably some situations where you need to listen to numbers in English. The familiar number 1234 may seem easy when you write it down, but it's surprisingly difficult when you listen to it. Even if you have words like one, two, three in your head, they are incorporated into unfamiliar words in the actual situation, so even if you know them in your head, they don't register easily in your ears. .

In this app, you will practice listening to English numbers read out by an artificial voice and inputting them to get used to listening.

I also wanted to practice using this app, so I placed something like a mascot with a round face on the screen. This round face is not advanced AI or other advanced technology, but is simply a circle with eyes and a mouth drawn inside it, but it creates a much more relaxed atmosphere than practicing while looking at a blank screen. Also, the purpose is not to give correct or incorrect answers like when studying for a test, but to simply practice over and over again and get used to listening, so even when you make a mistake, they encourage you by saying things like ``Don't worry!''.

You start with a single digit number, but you can freely press "↑" and "↓" to increase or decrease the number of digits to adjust the difficulty level. You can practice listening to alphanumeric characters from 1 to 9 digits. I can listen to around 3 digits without making mistakes, but when it comes to 4 digits, I have to listen to it over and over again to be able to write it down correctly. I think you can also use it as a brain training exercise.
