About this game

Dooz is five in a row — Gomoku — on a full 15×15 board. Take turns placing stones; the first to line up five of their own, across, down or diagonally, wins. Easy to learn in a minute, hard to master in a lifetime.

PLAY THE COMPUTER
Four opponents, and they differ in what they can see, not in how often they blunder:
• Beginner blocks a five and never sees one coming.
• Casual answers a real threat and plays one line at a time.
• Skilled reads several moves deep and punishes a loose one.
• Master sees the quiet build-up too, and does not miss much.
Your record against each level is kept — wins, losses and your best winning streak — with a statistics screen that shows how you are improving. Stuck? Ask for a hint, or take a move back.

A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY
Win in three to five moves, and every move must threaten five, so every answer is forced and every puzzle has been checked to be solvable. Keep your daily streak going, replay the days you missed, and share your result without giving the answer away.

TWO PLAYERS, ONE SCREEN
Pass the phone across the table. The score carries over from game to game, and the loser starts the next one.

PLAY A FRIEND IN THE SAME ROOM
Two phones, one board, no internet and no account. Connect over Bluetooth, or over local Wi-Fi if you are on the same network. Both players see the same board, the winning line lights up on both screens, and the loser opens the rematch.

MADE FOR PHONES AND TABLETS
• Two taps place a stone, so a 15×15 board is never a game of fat fingers: tap to aim, tap again to commit — or slide the ghost stone into place first.
• Pinch or tap to zoom, and the board follows your opponent's move so you never lose track of it.
• Lean the board back with two fingers and the sculpted boards catch the light.
• Star points, a highlighted last move and an enclosed winning line, as on a real board.
• Portrait or landscape, phone or tablet.

ELEVEN BOARDS
Classic, Midnight and Sakura are free. Eight more — sculpted eggs, chocolates, marbles, walnut and painted boards — come with the one-time unlock, in a dark theme and a light one.

ONE PURCHASE, NOTHING ELSE
Dooz has no ads, no accounts, no subscriptions and no energy timers. A single one-time purchase unlocks the Skilled and Master opponents, all eleven boards, undo and unlimited hints. Try Skilled free for five games and get three hints on the house first. Everything else is free, and stays free.

IN YOUR LANGUAGE
English, Persian, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish — chosen in the app, not just from your phone's settings.

"Dooz" is what five in a row is called in Persian.
Five in a row on a 15×15 board: the computer, a daily puzzle, a friend. No ads.

What’s new

Playing someone nearby is more reliable.
A game no longer gets stuck waiting on one player, and long Bluetooth games no longer crash.
If the connection breaks, both phones now say so instead of one waiting forever.
On Wi-Fi, phones on the same home network find each other more easily.
The screen stays on while you host or play.
