About this game

Take off, climb, and shoot the other plane out of the sky. Biplanes is a classic side-view dogfight for two players on two phones, played over Bluetooth. No Wi-Fi, no internet, no account.

TWO PHONES, ONE SKY
• One player hosts, the other joins. That is all the setup there is.
• Works between Android phones and iPhones: play against a friend whatever phone they have.
• Plays anywhere: on a train, on a plane, at the back of the classroom.

SIMPLE TO FLY, HARD TO MASTER
• Four buttons: nose up, nose down, throttle and fire.
• Hit twice and a plane goes down. Bail out, open your parachute and run to the hangar for a new plane.
• The sky wraps around: fly off one edge and come back on the other.
• First to 10 wins.

PLAY ALONE
No friend nearby? Fly against a bot. Four levels, from Easy to Ace. Solo play needs no Bluetooth at all.

EIGHT MAPS
Every map looks different, and most change the rules a little:
• Farmland: the classic field with a barn in the middle
• Canyon: a tall rock spire to fly around
• Storm Front: a steady wind and fast clouds
• Carrier: short decks and open water
• Arctic: icy runways where landings slide
• Night Raid: barrage balloons drifting through the dark
• High Altitude: a lower ceiling and thin air
• Open Sky: nothing in the way
All maps are free.

FIFTEEN PLANES
Fly the free biplane, or pick another look: a triplane, a racer, a seaplane, jets, helicopters and more. Your opponent sees the plane you chose.

Extra planes are optional one-time purchases. They change how your plane looks, nothing else: every plane flies and shoots exactly the same, so nobody can buy an advantage.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Two players need two phones, close to each other, with the app open on both.
• Bluetooth must be on. On Android 11 and older, the system also asks for the Location permission before an app may use Bluetooth to find nearby games. Biplanes does not use or store your location.
• No ads. No account. The game does not need the internet to play.
