I don't know if it's the device or this app, but the reliability is terrible just like everyone else says. If I reboot the Instamic, it might appear in the app, might even connect, but after 1-60 seconds, it disconnects and doesn't reappear in the list until I reboot it again.
Hi Kenzi, we're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with our device. Since our app hasn't been tested with the Android 16 Beta (SDK36) that your phone seems to be running, we'll take a look.
To help us assist you better, could you please share a bit more detail about what's happening and include any screenshots? Thanks so much for your help!

DO NOT use this app. If you're recording audio on your instamic and open the app, you risk losing your recording. I have lost two important audio tracks just because I tried using the app. it's unreliable, poorly designed, and counterproductive. Just go off of the lights on the instamic itself. I could sue.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
As a fellow videographer, I understand the frustration of losing content during a production.
Please email us at support@instamic.io with a detailed description of the triggers that prevented your Instamic from recording.
We’re eager to assist you.

The App experience is sadly very bad. The InstaMic connect's, 3s later the App tells me that the Mic is not paired... Now we received in App Video recording also on Android, but I see no way to use my 4 lenses of the S23 Ultra. When buying the InstaMic I had really hi hopes, but sadly even after not using it for over a year I still see no progress, the last App update is over a year old... So I guess this project is dead ?

Hi Steve, thanks for your feedback. My team asks which firmware your Instamic is running on. Happy to see that our in-app video feature is gaining attention from our community. We'll definitely consider adding the multiple lens selection feature. Instamic is alive and always in development. Maybe a little bit in the background recently ;-) Michele
