About this app

Jonot Display turns any Android tablet, TV or Fire TV Stick into a dedicated waiting-room queue screen. Customers can see who is being served, who is next and the estimated wait.

Designed for waiting rooms and lobbies in pharmacies, banks, clinics, repair shops, government offices, restaurants and any place that manages customers through the Jonot queue platform.

KEY FEATURES

• Live queue display — the current ticket, upcoming tickets and wait information update in real time.
• Output only — the display never accepts input from customers; there is nothing to tap or type.
• Starts automatically — the screen opens the display after a power cut or restart, with no help from a manager.
• Stays awake — the screen never dims or sleeps while the app is in the foreground.
• Full-screen view — system controls are hidden so the queue uses the entire screen.
• Android TV and Fire TV support — works on tablets and TVs without touchscreens, and appears on the TV home screen.
• Automatic recovery — the content and app restart after an unexpected failure so an unattended screen does not stay blank.
• Remote management — device-management services such as Intune, Jamf and Esper can set a different display URL or pairing code without a new app build.

WHO IT IS FOR

Service businesses that already use the Jonot queue platform and want a wall-mounted screen or TV in the waiting area showing live queue status, in addition to (or instead of) a phone-based wait notification.

REQUIREMENTS

• Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer, including Android TV / Fire TV.
• A reliable Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection — the display is real-time and requires connectivity.
• An active Jonot organization account at jonot.io with at least one location and one queue configured.

PRIVACY

Jonot Display shows the display web app. It collects no personal data and accepts no customer input. It only shows queue information from the Jonot service.
