About this app

With E-RecycleBin, residents of Komotini as well as its visitors can locate the nearest blue recycling bin, find out about recyclable materials and, if they have any problems, notify the responsible municipal service by email.

Citizens of our city with android application can:

1. be informed of all the city's blue recycling bins,
2. identify the nearest blue recycling bin;
3. be informed about recycling issues and
4. come into electronic communication (via email)
    a) with the development team, in case of technical implementation issues
    b) with the competent service in case of problems related to blue recycling bins (correct / incorrect use, condition, functionality, destruction or other problems that may occur)

The Application was created by the students of the Robotics and Planning Team of the 3rd General High School of Komotini, with the help of responsible teachers and seeking to enhance the effort made in recent years to enhance the environmental awareness of our fellow citizens.

Believing that recycling is a sample of our society's culture and primarily a matter of education, we strive, through E-RecycleBin, to highlight its value and help to consolidate the ecological behavior and attitude of our fellow citizens towards the environment.
