The Bond device is very limited in capability and is not durable. Instructions are not intuitive, and there are few alternative ways of getting it to work. It's been a frustrating experience, and now it died after a few years of use. There are much better solutions to integrate non-smart and smart devices for app control capabilities.

Terrible device. Fan manufacturer says its bond compatible but the remote is not in their database. Programming the buttons manually into the remote is a real pain and then does not work correctly. Tell it to turn on the fan, and it turns on both the fan and the light, even tho they are programmed as separate devices. Light has the capability of changing color temp, but that doesn't work either. Don't waste your time or money. "Customer support" is terrible!

The Bond app and router were literally plug and play and couldn't have been easier to setup. The hardest part was setting the dip switches so that each unit operated no a unique frequency. After I figured out the 1st one, the other 2 went fast. The only feature i haven't yet used is Schedules. Instead, I can control all 3 fans and lights from anywhere on demand.
