About this app

O'Sense is a workforce app for teams that work where the network does not.

Attendance is verified by face, routes are recorded as they are driven, and site photos are captured on the spot — on farms, towers, depots and construction sites with little or no coverage. Everything is written to the phone first and syncs on its own once a connection returns.

An O'Sense company account is required. Your employer provides your login.


LABOURSENSE — ATTENDANCE, VERIFIED BY FACE

• Clock in and out with an on-device face check, including liveness detection
• Works fully offline — records queue on the phone and sync later
• Time and GPS position recorded with every clock-in
• Lateness measured against the reporting time your employer sets
• Short shifts ask for a reason: sick, injury, permission, half day or emergency
• Supervisor override when a face check fails, with a photo of the site as proof of presence
• Personal timesheet showing hours worked, days present and late arrivals


FIELDSENSE — ROUTES, WAYPOINTS AND SITE PHOTOS

• Work assigned routes and sites, or start unscheduled work when the day changes
• The whole route is recorded as a trail, including stretches with no signal
• Geofencing for the company operating area and for individual route zones
• Download a map area before travelling and keep using the map with no data
• Photos taken at a site are attached to that job and location
• Work organised as active, scheduled and done, so a scheduled job never blocks a quick task


BUILT FOR NO SIGNAL

Offline is the normal case here, not the fallback. Face matching runs on the device itself. Clock-ins, GPS trails, photos and completed jobs sit in an on-device queue and are delivered when coverage appears. A worker can spend an entire shift out of range and lose nothing.


FOR MANAGERS AND HR

Attendance, timesheets, route coverage and site photos appear on the web dashboard at app.osense.io, where reporting times, minimum hours, sites, and route assignments are configured.


PERMISSIONS AND WHY

• Camera — face clock-in and site photos
• Location, including in the background — records route coverage while a field session is running, so the trail survives the screen being off. Background tracking runs only during an active field session, never otherwise.
• Storage — downloaded offline map areas and queued photos


IN DEVELOPMENT

Route43 (school pickup and dropoff) and Security Patrol (guard rounds and site checks) appear in the app marked as coming soon, and are not yet available.
