About this app

IMPORTANT — Panamap is NOT an official government app of Panama. It is an independent citizen platform operated by a private entity. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government agency, ministry, or public institution. Institutional routing suggestions are informational only; they do not submit official reports to those entities.

Panamap is Panama's environmental intelligence platform. It connects citizens, NGOs, researchers, and institutions with geolocated reports, open maps, and actionable data to understand and respond to environmental and public-service issues across the country.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH PANAMAP

REPORT INCIDENTS
• Submit reports with GPS or map pin location, description, and photo evidence
• Report with an account or anonymously — no sign-up required to contribute
• 20+ categories: waste, water pollution, deforestation, fires, flooding, landslides, illegal mining, wildlife, coastal damage, power outages, garbage collection, potholes, traffic, and more
• AI-assisted classification to suggest category and priority
• Informational suggestions of responsible institutions based on location and incident type (see official sources below)
• Offline mode: save drafts on your device and sync when you're back online

EXPLORE THE MAP AND TERRITORY
