PocketNotes is a private, local-first notes app for text, images and PDFs.
Use with or without signup or an account or network. Optionally sign in for free text sync and Web access. Find exact words offline, opt in to semantic indexing for cited sources, inspect why notes connect in the Graph, and turn confirmed dates into local reminders.
In this release, Advanced E2EE can protect only notes with no attachment history. Their titles and organizational details remain visible, their bodies sync as opaque ciphertext, and Web cannot open them. They are excluded from AI, search, semantic indexing, Graph, RAG, entity and fact extraction, attachments and sharing.
PocketNotes does not ship generated answers or AI writing in this release.
