About this app
The app is available in 27 different languages and allow event organizers from all over the world to organize path finder activities.
The participants must have a compass and know how to use a given distance (in meters) and a given azimuth (in degrees) given at the origin in order to find a destination.
Participants must have internet access at the start of their run, the app is able to work offline.
Organizers must have internet access, otherwise QRCode scanned information won't be properly stored in the server.
In the beginning of each event, organizers will setup a path in a map by providing an order of multiple geofences (GPS locations with a certain radius in a circle shape) with selectable sizes.
The participants signup for an event by providing an username and by selecting a country flag (not necessarily from their country).
Each participant has a QR Code with an unique identifier. That QR Code must be scanned to start the run.
When the run starts, the participant will be given a distance and an azimuth. The participant has a "Verify Location" button which allows to get their GPS location and verify if the current location is inside the geofence their are looking for. A new distance and azimuth will be given until the participant reach all the geofences from the path.
When the participant arrives at the final destination, their QR Code should be scanned a second time in order to calculate their run duration.
The organizers will generate a ranking based on the following criteria:
(1) Maximum geofences found
(2) Minimum run duration
(3) Minimum verify location button presses.
