What is RAPT?

RAPT is Really Awesome Product Technology.

RAPT uses the Internet of Things (IoT) to enable real time logging, real time access and real time control for your various brewing processes.

The Rapt Cloud allows for seamless integration of all of your RAPT enabled products, controllable and accessible from any of your devices.
The RAPT App allows simple, seamless, integrated control over every one of your RAPT enabled devices, no matter where you are or what you are doing.

RAPT is perfect for any and all your brewing and fermentation needs – beer making, wine, salami, kimchi – almost anything where temperature and/or pressure control is an important part of the process.

Ratings and reviews

It's a good start, but still needs some work. I'm using it for temp controllers. It doesn't provide as much functionality as the web interface, but it does let you adjust most settings. Some settings are in Celsius, like hysteresis, even though I'm set to imperial units on everything. I also haven't figured out how to show and hide different data on the temp graph, like you can in the web app. Overall, an OK app to go with a great product. I hope they keep up with updates to get things fixed.

I use all the Kegland equipment. I've never used the app with my Brewzilla as I prefer to do this manually. When I was just using the Rapt Pill the app was difficult to get the information regularly. Then I connected the pill via BT to the Temp Controller and got much better feedback on the app. However, the app doesn't always load despite great signal and it's painfully slow. But the information when you do get it is great.

This is possibly the worst piece of software I've ever suffered. It's unusable, complete and utter garbage. I have a 90mbps connection but this thing takes 5 mins to load. Sometimes it never loads. The interface is confusing, badly designed, and flaky. Too many useless features rather than making the few features that people want work correctly and promptly. The latest changes to the dashboard are a perfect illustration of that. Really Awful Product Technology.
