FloorRunner: Ops & Compliance

Runner Technology Ltd

About this app

FloorRunner is the operations and compliance app for restaurants, cafés, pubs, care homes and any kitchen that keeps daily records. One place for the daily checks, the food safety logs, prep tracking, use-by dates, opening and closing routines, and the paperwork you need when the inspector calls.

Made for the person on the floor, not the head office. Everything is quick to fill on a phone, works offline, and syncs the moment you get signal.

DAILY CHECKS
• Opening and closing checklists set up around your brand and your hours.
• Fridge and freezer temperatures, hot-hold, delivery accept/refuse, cleaning schedules, allergen checks.
• Skip a check with a reason, correct one after the fact within your shop's window, and see the fix in place of the original.
• Add your own checks and hide the ones you never use.

FOOD SAFETY
• Product batches with use-by dates and clocks that warn before they run out.
• Cook and chill, hot-hold, defrost logs with photos.
• Waste and losses recorded at the selling price with VAT, so a loss is a loss on the books, not just a line.
• Print reduced-item labels straight from an expiring batch.

PREP AND USE-BY
• Every prep item has its own shelf life; a label goes on the container with the "use by" printed.
• A clock warns before it runs out; extend it or bring it forward and the change is on the record with your name.

WEEKLY COMPLIANCE PACK
• The week's logs, signed by a manager with a PIN, and shared as a single PDF.
• Late readings say why. Sign-offs record who signed. A week that isn't fully recorded still closes and still gets signed.

ACTIONS REGISTER
• Report an issue as you see it, own it, close it out with photos or a short video.
• Escalate to Environmental Health, HSE, HMRC or a supplier and keep the outcome with the ticket.

WORKS OFFLINE
• Every screen writes locally first. Nothing is lost because the signal dropped in the walk-in.
• Sync the moment you're back on Wi-Fi or 4G.
