About this app

CatPhish helps you assess whether a message, link, or screenshot may be a phishing attempt.

Paste the content of a suspicious message or select a screenshot from the gallery. The selected image is sent to our backend for analysis. The application checks for risk signals and displays a score along with practical security steps. If not all data can be collected, the score indicates the analysis' limitations.

CatPhish is a decision-support tool. The score does not guarantee security and does not replace sender verification, organizational procedures, or reporting the incident to the appropriate security team.

Access to the app requires a CatPhish account. New users can register with an email address and confirm their account with a code or use Google Login; organizational accounts can also be assigned by the administrator. Metering is optional: selecting "Not Now" upon first launch allows you to use the app without enabling optional metering.
