Unlike most software out there, Tlon Messenger is decentralized and open source. Connect to Tlon Messenger with a unique ID you own. Your ID is a key to a stand-alone node that connects to a peer-to-peer network. This means no middlemen mining your data and no concern about its durability. If we disappear, you can continue to use our messenger.

I like the potential here and I realize its still under development. However, please consider to stop banning much more secure OS systems (i.e. grapheneOS). Apps can use the standard Android hardware attestation API to verify hardware, OS and app with GrapheneOS. Play integrity API is not needed! Hope yall get behind this for us.

What’s new

This release enhances Android push notifications and improves the "node stopped" login experience with better status information. Key fixes address navigation issues between channels and proper handling of Gallery/Notebook post references. Additional improvements resolve problems with message retries, group previews, member visibility, and the onboarding process.
