Veriscope Lens is a witness camera for footage that needs to be verifiable.
Photo and video you capture are encrypted on your device and stay there until
you decide to publish. When you publish, the file is sealed together with when
it was taken, where it was taken and which device took it. If the file is
altered afterwards, the seal no longer verifies.
- Capture photo and video with a purpose-built camera.
- Keep everything in a private on-device gallery. Nothing is uploaded
automatically.
- Publish only what you choose. The rest never leaves your phone.
- Browse published footage from other contributors on a public map.
- Report or block content that breaks the rules.
Location access is required. A capture with no place attached cannot be
verified, so the app asks for camera, microphone, location and notification
access during setup, and explains each one before requesting it.
