Developers ruined the game: new fatal mid-game pop-up ad ruins everything because you die when taken out of gameplay. Been playing intermittently since release, last review 2020. Not worth it as a free game anymore with the fatal mid-game ad! The glitches still occur - never fixed. The fact that the only change in the last 6 years is to add a fatal mid-game ad tells you all you need to know about how VOODOO feels about the game (they don't care!)!!! Really sad: had it for years! why'd u do that?

I usually play this game every day because I genuinely liked trying to get to the end of all the shapes but the ADS ARE RIDICULOUS. If you want to revive, you have to watch an ad, if you don't you STILL have to watch an ad and I was hoping they weren't going to bring ads in the middle of playing like the other paper io games and all of a sudden there is? I couldn't even skip it and then it disappeared and I died?? Not to mention the glitching is out of control.

I like that Paper.io has multiple maps and skins that you can explore and discover. However, the game can be very laggy and the "players" are obviously bots that offer no real competition; they die (often by a glitch or self-suicide) before they can take over much of the map. Also, there are too many ads, usually an ad or 2 after each round. I know that I can pay to get rid of ads but there shouldn't be so many in the first place. Paper.io can be fun, but I am too frustrated to continue playing.
