About this app

Gift cards get forgotten in drawers, wallets, and email inboxes, and billions in value go unspent every year. Wallyo puts every card on your phone, ready to scan at the register.

ADD CARDS ANY WAY YOU LIKE
• Scan the barcode on a physical card
• Type the number in by hand
• Photograph a card
• Paste an eGift email or import the file
• Bulk import from a spreadsheet (CSV)

USE THEM AT THE REGISTER
• Full-screen, high-brightness barcode built for store scanners
• Works for cards you typed in, not just cards you scanned
• PIN shown when you need it, hidden when you don't

STAY ON TOP OF EVERY CARD
• See your total balance at a glance
• Update a balance in seconds after you spend
• Alerts before a card expires and when a balance runs low
• Optional: get a ping when you walk up to a store you already have a card for. Off by default.

SHARE WITH FAMILY
• Share a card in person. Both people sign in and scan a Ready code
• Both phones can show the barcode. A spend on either phone updates the shared balance
• Send moves the card. It leaves this vault
• Share is not email, AirDrop, or a file. A .wallyo file is an encrypted backup

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Card numbers, PINs, and barcodes stay in encrypted storage on your phone. We never receive them in a form we can read. While you are signed in, a sealed copy of the vault can sit on your account so a reinstall can restore it. We cannot open that copy. Photographs stay encrypted until you open them. Your account also keeps retailer, last four digits, balance, and expiry. No ads. No trackers. No selling your data.

WHAT WALLYO IS NOT
Wallyo does not sell gift cards, issue credit, process payments, or recover funds from a retailer. The balance lives with the merchant. Wallyo makes sure the card is on the phone at checkout.
