About this app

Bindicator tells you which bins to put out and when, so you never miss bin day again. Made for Wigan, using the council's own collection calendar.

SET UP IN SECONDS
Type the code from your council calendar and Bindicator finds your collection day. No account, no sign-up.

REMINDERS THAT NAME YOUR BINS
Get a nudge the night before and on the morning of collection, telling you exactly which bins go out: Black, Blue, Brown or Green.

BIN NIGHT
On collection eve, slide to confirm your bins are out. On iPhone, you can tick it off right from your lock screen.

WIDGETS
See your next collection at a glance on your home screen, and on your lock screen on iPhone.

EVERY COLLECTION AT A GLANCE
Browse the full schedule by month, as a list, or by bin. Christmas and bank holiday changes are flagged early, and you'll get a heads-up when your day moves.

WHAT GOES IN EACH BIN
A quick reminder of what goes in each bin, right next to every collection.

Bindicator is an independent app and is not affiliated with Wigan Council.
