About this app

Veðurstöðin displays weather information from the Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO)*.

The app displays observations and weather forecast from 136 stations across the country and the closest station can be displayed automatically.

The app allows you to view forecast maps and cloud cover maps for a region, the whole island or the Atlantic Ocean.

Available are widgets to put on the home screen for observations, weather forecasts and air quality.

The app makes sure that you have all the basic Icelandic weather information in your phone when in Iceland.

Get ekki annað en mælt með appinu, og hef margoft gert. Það mætti samt fara að íhuga útgáfu 2.0, eftir sjö ára velgengni.

- Fixed issues with app in Android 12+
- Premium version discontinued and ads removed from app, thanks for the support!
- Added feature to only send notification for weather warnings for selected weather station (may not always work).
- Updated libraries and station list (Fixed Akureyri).
- Other minor fixes and updates to code.
- Some features could not work 100%, but still decided to release this version now.
