Be better informed about roads conditions by using the SafeTravel app. You can easily see conditions on the road as well as be informed about weather conditions that should be considered when driving.

Weather conditions in Iceland can change quickly and be different from what you‘re used to. In outdoor activities such as hiking/trekking always put safety number one. In this app we provide a way for you to send your GPS location to 112 so that in case of an emergency it helps to track your location.

Ratings and reviews

Useful app especially traveling around iceland during winter but it only worked for a few days and now the app wouldn't load (been trying for hours to see if this is just temporary). Would have rated this app 5 stars if it weren't for this issue.

Some names of major towns would be helpful

Went in summer. Would be super useful in winter I'd imagine.
