Updating my review after developer's response: The developer states that the app does not upload personal data and that the high data usage is related to its peer-to-peer networking design. This app consumed approximately 9 GB of mobile data in about two weeks despite very light use. It also drained my battery. I did not realize the app was responsible at first, and the additional mobile data usage ended up costing $60. Until this is fixed, I cant recommend the app.

Very handy and efficient messaging app. Interface is simple and easy to navigate. The application is like a combination of discord as it has channels, and whatsapp but in a simpler way. You will not have difficulty in navigating the options. It is better if it also have authentications like mobile number or email address
