About this app

Walt is a privacy-first wallet for the passes, tickets, and documents you already have.

Add boarding passes, event tickets, loyalty cards, and other passes in the Apple Wallet (.pkpass) format. Add PDF documents and photos. Or make a barcode yourself, by scanning one with the camera or typing the code in by hand.

Everything you add is stored on your phone, encrypted, in Walt's private storage. Walt never uploads your passes, documents, images, or barcodes to any server. There is no account to create and no profile to fill out.

What you can do:
- Import .pkpass files from email, Drive, Files, and downloads, or straight from the share sheet
- Add PDFs and photos and keep them alongside your passes
- Scan a barcode with the camera, or type a code in and let Walt generate it
- Fetch a pass from an add-to-wallet link, after Walt shows you the link and you confirm
- See your passes with the issuer's own branding, and pull up details and barcodes at the gate, the counter, or the door
- Reorder your wallet by dragging, and move anything you are done with to the archive

Diagnostics: Walt ships with crash reporting, performance, and product analytics switched off. You can turn each one on separately, for three hours or indefinitely, under Settings then Telemetry. Nothing about the contents of your wallet is ever included. Walt uses no advertising ID and shows no ads.

Tap-to-pay is not in this release. Bank-card and contactless-payment features are planned, pending regulatory review; the app ships with no payment SDK.
