Welcome to Roma Corre in Bici!
The app, created by Roma Servizi per la Mobilità, was designed to promote the use of bicycles and electric scooters in daily commuting around the city.
Use the new way of calculating the cycle path made available by Google. Roma Servizi per la Mobilità is also collaborating with Google to update the database of cycle paths on Google Maps.
Start your journey and be monitored by the app: the system acquires your location via the phone's GPS, in full compliance with the current European privacy regulation (GDPR).
It records the distance traveled, the average speed, the total length of the journey as well as the amount of CO2 saved and the calories burned. The system also carries out checks on the maximum speeds reached and on other characteristics of the movement, in order to validate the actual use of the declared vehicle.
Check your position in the ranking, based on the total km traveled.
Acquire credits that you can take advantage of in the form of discounts or benefits, as businesses and / or companies decide to join the project.

There are now countless studies that show that as more sustainable modes of travel grow, the propensity of citizens to actively experience the public space of our cities increases and this also increases the business opportunities of nearby shops and businesses.

If you work for a company that has its own Mobility Manager, you can suggest that it join the project.
We will create a user who will be able to access a back office system via the web where you can see the kilometers traveled by all employees and the company will be able to decide to recognize some forms of incentives for those who use the bicycle or scooter to go to work.
