About this app

Poderi is an App developed by Aedit s.r.l. through a participatory co-creation approach with end users, within the activities of the Horizon H2020 FAIRshare project (G.A. n. 818488).
Poderi aims to support the consultancy activity in rationalizing agronomic practices and the use of inputs in agriculture, integrating functionalities for field monitoring and the register of crop operations, with decision support systems (DSS).
In particular, in the Poderi app it is possible to create the company and the polygons of the cultivated plots, assign the closest weather station among those available (Tuscany Region Open Data network) and define the specific characteristics of each plot (soil, crop, expected yield , etc').
For each plot it is possible to record the cultivation operations carried out (sowing, fertilizing, harvesting, etc') and the monitoring carried out in the field (phenological stage, detection of harmful insects and pathogens, etc').
For fields intended for olive trees, vines and corn, the following DDSs are available which are updated daily by processing the temperature and rainfall data recorded by the weather station associated with the company:
defense against the main insects and pathogens with forecast models that provide information on their stage of development and/or indications on the risk at the time of the query;
calculation of the water balance for each plot with indications on the water status of the crop and on the volumes of water to be distributed;
calculation of the balance of macronutrients (N, K, P) per plot with indications on the nutritional status of the crop and on the doses to be distributed;
Finally, Poderi allows you to share the company profile by sending an invitation (link via email or WhatsApp) from the company contact person to the consultant or vice versa, allowing the display of common information and data.
