#ioleggoperché, the major book drive to support school libraries, is back. From Friday, November 7th to Sunday, November 16th, 2025, participating bookstores will be able to purchase books (including remotely for those stores that have registered) to donate to schools in the four educational systems: preschool, primary, middle school, and high school.
At the end of the drive, publishers will contribute a number of books equal to the total national donation (up to a maximum of 100,000 volumes), donating them to school libraries and distributing them according to availability among all participating schools that request them through the portal. The shared goal is to fill the libraries of participating schools with thousands of texts!

The app is a useful tool for searching for participating bookshops and schools, and supports booksellers (participating in the initiative) by allowing them to keep detailed track of which and how many books have been donated to the schools. It also offers the ability to search for events organized by participating schools.
