About this app
Barside β Meet people, go out together, live the night.
Away from home for work or school and don't want to spend the evening alone β or just want to meet new people? Barside connects you with real people at partner venues near you, before you even leave the house. Join the virtual bar, find out who'll be there tonight, then meet them in person.
πΈ How Barside works
Every partner venue has a virtual bar: a public chat that's active in the hours before the event. Sign up for the night you're interested in, introduce yourself in the chat, and see who's going. When you're ready, head to the venue and meet the people you've already talked to.
No profiles to swipe through. No matching algorithm. Just people who want to go out and socialize on the same night.
β¨ Key features
Virtual Bar β Public chat to meet the night's crowd before you go out
Cheers β Start a private chat with someone who caught your eye: it only opens with both people's explicit consent
The Chain β Stay in touch with people you've met in person at the venue, for as long as you're both in the same city
Verified venues β Only selected partner venues, with real events and an active community
Location-based discovery β Find nights out at venues near you, filtered by distance and interests
π‘ Why choose Barside
Going out in a new city can be hard. Barside solves the most common problem for people on the move: knowing where to go β and who with. Whether you're a student away from home, on a work trip, or just curious to meet new people, Barside gives you a real reason to go out tonight.
Every night starts in the virtual bar and ends at the venue β with real people, met in a real setting. Socializing has never been this direct.
π Privacy first
Consent is always explicit: no private contact without both people agreeing
No data sold to third parties
No advertising
Messages are automatically deleted after the evening
Barside is not a dating app. It's the app for people who want to experience the city β even someone else's β and go home with something to remember.
